Fèlsina is an Etruscan name. The present housing estate structure dates back to 18th century, owed to the Busatti/Ricci family. Domenico Poggiali bought the estate, counting 11 medieval farms with a single vineyard and different olive trees, and his son Beppe runned it. Giuseppe Mazzocolin, Domenico’s son-in-law, fashioned Fèlsina’s image relating it to its territory. With oenologist Franco Bernabei, they developed the winery and introduced its cru wines, Fontalloro, Rancia, Maestro Raro, and I Sistri. The nephew Giovanni Poggiali as managing director ensures continuity of the winery enterprise.
